Two one-day trainings provided by EFT Romania
FROM LOSS TO RESILIENCE WITH EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Dr. T. Leanne Campbell, Registered Psychologist
None of us escape loss. Many of our clients will successfully navigate the disorientation and disorganization that inevitably follows loss, some will get stuck.
Join Dr. Leanne Campbell, Registered Psychologist, ICEEFT Executive Board Member and international speaker and writer in this workshop where she details the attachment-based experiential assessment that helps guide the role of the therapist and each client’s unique grief journey. Watch, listen, and learn from the clients who share their therapeutic work and their stories as they find their way home to themselves, and renegotiate their identities and new realities in the wake of loss.
Attachment theory and science offer a guide to understanding love and loss. Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), an attachment-based humanistic experiential therapy, provides clinicians with a roadmap and set of interventions to support and guide individuals as they begin their unique journeys from loss to resilience.
In this one-day workshop (that qualifies for EFIT certification), join Dr. Leanne Campbell, as she explores, through the lens of attachment, some of the mystery and meaning of common terms and expectations surrounding loss, acceptance, letting go and moving on to name a few. Witness the power of harnessing and employing the deep emotion that so often accompanies loss, as Leanne guides the process from loss and grief to growth and resilience.
Participants will discover:
The key elements of the attachment perspective and its significance for understanding personality, healthy functioning, love, and loss, including traumatic loss
The process of tuning in and finding focus in EFIT with C.A.R.E. when working with loss: The attachment-based experiential assessment
A guide for working with loss across the three stages of EFIT with C.A.R.E.
How to apply key Attachment-based Experiential Humanistic interventions based on the EFT model and over thirty years of process and outcome research when working with loss.
