Joanne Bihari

Certified ICEEFT Supervisor

As a clinical psychologist, I provide assessment and psychotherapy to help individuals and couples with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, (PTSD), complex trauma, grief and living fully with illness. My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Mindfulness-based somatic therapies. I try to be present, curious and support people to explore their emotions, needs and longings with compassion as we work through stuck points and blocks, to discover strengths, sources of connection and joy. I’m continually learning and growing my skills as an EFT therapist and supervisor. It is a true honour to get to work with a diverse range of people of all abilities, sexual orientations and gender identities. I am committed to life-long learning in cultural humility as a foundation for building trust and safety together.

Groups are open to all Individual and Couples therapists regardless of certification level
