PESI USA & Psychology Networker - FREE EFT TRAINING EVENT

Join George Faller and Leanne Campbell as they introduce you to a powerful attachment-based experiential systemic model for working with individuals, couples, or families, or all the above! Whether you are working with a distressed individual, an escalated couple or a raucous family, an attachment frame offers a map to the heart of the matter! Learn skills to match the affect of partners and help them put words to their inner experience, shifting their focus from blaming their partner (view-of-other) to their own vulnerability (view-of-self). Renew your confidence by getting help in the areas where you lose focus and get lost in reactivity and mis-attunement. Learn multiple strategies to make explicit, expand and work through the blocks and defenses we all experience. Go deeper with Leanne and George as they break down the moment-to-moment decisions that inform the treatment process so you can immediately incorporate powerful, proven techniques into your own work. Through video clips, experiential activities, and vibrant dialogue, we will learn how to freshen up, better attune, and refine our skills.

In this workshop, using real-life video case examples and other stories from the therapists’ chairs, you’ll learn how to harness the power of emotion and the wisdom of attachment science to:

  • Adopt an attachment frame that simplifies the most complex presentations and gets to the core of distress and disconnection 

  • Create the foundational safety for attachment security 

  • Apply key interventions to de-escalate relationship distress and soothe the nervous systems of individuals within those relationships 

  • Identify and unblock barriers to connection such as shame and attachment injuries with an easy to-follow step-by-step process

  • Identify the positive cycle of responsiveness to replace the escalated, negative cycle

  • Help clients order/assemble their emotion in a way that facilitates affect regulation and relational safety 

  • Apply a simple five-move set of interventions to structure and make the most of your 50-minute sessions

  • Identify, work with, and dissolve the blocks/defenses/protective strategies/resistance that so commonly leaves therapists and clients alike feeling stuck 

  • Choreograph encounters, that is, move clients into new experiences and new relationship events, the cornerstone of change in EFT 

  • Move clients and their most important relationships out of gridlock into hope, growth, and resilience
